how many eggs can i expect a buff orphington chicken to lay a day?

i have 4 chicks right now. they have a giant chicken coup perfect laying temp and plenty of space

At the highest rate of production they will lay an egg once every 23 hours. This usually occurs between about 1 year to 2 years of age. One inportant thing is light. They need 14 hours of light per day. If there is less daylight than this then you need to supplement with a light in your hen coop. When you add the light work up to 14 hours by adding 30 minutes of light per day. If you add more than this it will shock the chickens and reduce their egg production.
